May in Helsinki

This is a comeback! yes, I have been busy, and I need to catch up with my blog. From today I will keep the updates running!

I want to get back with a lovely family reportage that I shoot last May in Helsinki outskirts.

May can be a great time to get family portraits outside already. This year we had even better weather that now, in July. So I am aiming to all of you to book your pictures in location also during the springtime here in the North.

This day was just great, after the photoshoot we had a proper spring storm and almost get back home soaked but was perfect timing!

I leave here a short resume of the day. Marisol´s family is just a blast! lively kids, very funny, and nature lovers!

Introducing Gabriela

Beautiful winter mom Paola , introduce me to Gabriela last March. She was tiny, cute and very hungry little girl.
We had a shooting for Gabriela just after her tenth day.
She was quite awake during the session, but was really easy and mellow.
I felt in love with the colorful scarf that Paola had, and we used it as a prop.
Noticing myself that in the baby pictures I am liking more and more to document first the day of the mom and baby, then get some poses...more natural and fun. And always with natural light.
Looking forwards for the next baby shoot!

Iris

Few weeks ago, I Introduce you to a beautiful expecting mum, and her lovely family. Now I have the pleasure to introduce you to their new member, Iris.
Is just the best when I have notice that I cannot erase the smile from my face while editing these shoots.
I hope you like the pictures as much as me and this lovely family do!

One plus one, Three

The first baby is always something that brings a lot of new emotions and different feelings. And I have to say that this lovely couple amaze me during the both shootings. Bea and David are just the sweetest, loveliest people.
I am very happy that they trusted me to photograph little and super cute Sofia.

Bianka

You will agree with me, that this photo session is just something to adore!, So gorgeous family!
Shooting a one year old is just so rewarding. Bianka was turning one just the same week when we did this photo shoot. She smiled, played, and was absolutely the sweetest! Love it all!! Thanks for a wonderful morning Caro, Tommi and Bianka :)

When time stops

"I have the feeling this one is gonna be a nice shooting",  How can something go wrong with such a a beautiful people!.I was super excited to photograph this dearest, lovely, and full of life family.
I think that is fantastic, when, for a while, the running, business, timetables, work, and what for many of us is the normal rutine life, stops for couple of hours, then, everybody relaxes, can be themselves and enjoy each other as they are, and show how much they care.
Wouldn´t  be just great if this moments will last forever?  Yes, and I am trying my best to make this happen.

Together we are...

Sometimes, when photographing families, comes straight away a feeling of complete happiness,  love and joy. This is what happened with one of my favorites families. I don´t think I ever meet anyone as fantastic as each one of these guys. Pure happiness just to see them talking, playing or just looking at each other. They are unique, and there is something this world really needs! 

Onni , Sulo and Pikkusisko

What a wonderful  family, full of love. Absolutly beautiful children, the lovely Onni and Sulo got a little sister! :)  These kids are just great, they were posing, playing, even acting, in a great mood and attitude. I have been so happy to take their family portrait. Congrats Virve an Sampsa!

Double Nice

Hi everybody! After a month focused on fashion and catwalks, I am gonna show you something a bit different.
They were just perfect! lovely, sleepy, funny, one of them showing bit more temper,  I had the best time!, also was my first twin shooting, so it was specially challenging...Nuria and Jorge, they were also amazing, what a great parents and how big love they showed in every second to their kids, Alvaro and Gonzalo.
As many of you know by now, I love babies and kids..so imagine how wonderful has been to have this twice!
Congratulations Nuria and Jorge for these beauties, you are a fantastic family!
