Easter DIY

I have been for a long time into the DIY ( Do It Yourself ) fever. I enjoy so much the fact that you can create beautiful things, just with a bit of imagination, some variety of materials, some inspiration, and... voilà!
So for this post, I have decide to do a bit of DIY tutorial, very simple and easy to do.
For this I have used 4 eggs, You can boil them, or empty them doing a hole on the bottom of them.
Myself i am going to the emptying choice, because I might hang them on a garland afterwords , and i need them to be light.
Now, the fun bit. You can start drawing with markers, stick tape, watercolor or glue, whatever you want on top. The ideal would be to give them a layer of running glue mixed with water, and apply it with a brush, it will help to fix the decoration and make the shell much stronger, Remember, if you empty the egg it becomes super fragile and breaks easily.

La Vall de Laguar

This autumn I had the privilege to spend a long weekend in a very nice area really close to Valencia. La Vall de Laguar has been until this point an unknown place to me, but I must say that I fell in love with this area.

At only 25 minutes inland and up to the mountains from Denia  (very famous Mediterranean town), we found our town, Fleix, in where we booked the most beautiful house. Strongly recommend this rural House, lovely , comfortable and full of small details.

Even it was December, we enjoy a very warm temperatures, and manage to have lunch and breakfast at the terrace! What else can you wish for!

Very close by, is a trekking path, about 8 km long, and going all the way down and up the mountains. A waterfall can be spot in rainy season. The mountains have the most amazing views, and the flora that can be spotted is just beautiful.

Overall a great place to spend few days, and definitely coming back as soon as possible!! 

At Josefina Huerta´s Backstage

Sometimes the action is happening right behind the stage, and its a shame to miss it!. That is why I thought that could be nice to check what is really going on during the catwalk shows on the backstage. The Josefina Huerta´s show at the Valencian Fiesta y Boda´s fair gave me the chance, and I saw for myself what is happening. It was really fun: the hair and make up fixing, the counting down for running down the ale, the last instructions...Super nice thing to do!

Workshopping

This week I have a great experience workshopping at Llumm studios in Valencia. Great space for shooting with the latest in equipment and fantastic professionals working there. We had three different photographers sharing their own knowledge about cameras, capture software and flashes units: Carlos Gutierrez, Diego Rando and Tony Martin. 
In charge of Hair and Make up and styling the models Marina, Sara and Rafa, was Tono San Martin, and  Sergio Peris.
Really a great day, can´t wait for the next one!

When time stops

"I have the feeling this one is gonna be a nice shooting",  How can something go wrong with such a a beautiful people!.I was super excited to photograph this dearest, lovely, and full of life family.
I think that is fantastic, when, for a while, the running, business, timetables, work, and what for many of us is the normal rutine life, stops for couple of hours, then, everybody relaxes, can be themselves and enjoy each other as they are, and show how much they care.
Wouldn´t  be just great if this moments will last forever?  Yes, and I am trying my best to make this happen.

Together we are...

Sometimes, when photographing families, comes straight away a feeling of complete happiness,  love and joy. This is what happened with one of my favorites families. I don´t think I ever meet anyone as fantastic as each one of these guys. Pure happiness just to see them talking, playing or just looking at each other. They are unique, and there is something this world really needs! 

The beautiful Landskrona, Ven and Copenhagen.

This summer I had a very short but unbelievable family holiday to Sweden. 

Landskrona is a small town in the west coast of Sweden. Old Fishermen town, with a nice atmosphere, and lovely crystal water beach. Very friendly people, everything with a wonderful decoration and been taken care of. Just on a half an hour ferry trip, is the Island of Ven. There was set the first stars observatory of Europe. Now is a farmer land, the views are amazing and the Museum is worth to visit. You can move around the island on rented bike, horse or bus, also walking is a very good idea.

In our way back home , we pay a short visit to Copenhagen. The old town is very charming, the buildings are just great. Is a place where we should go back to explore bit better for sure!
