Today , I would like to try a bit the interior photography again, and I have test it in my own home.
I shoot our kids room. I think the challenge is to keep a tiny room, adapted for boys and for girls needs, toys, clothes..etc.
This room used to be a kitchen, yes a kitchen, and this is the result after selling and give away everything that was in there, fill holes, close old pipes, remove the wall papers, paint, put new floors, and redecorated.
I like to keep it simple, as you have probably notice in all my shoots, and also with the decoration.
The colour bit comes from wall decor, self-made window flags with recycling material, framed kids drawings, own illustrations and ethnic pieces from Mozambique, Honduras, Peru...bit of the nice things from around the world that our family and friends has given to us.
Hope you enjoy it!
Photography, painting, illustration...these are some of my passions, and i want to share them with you.

End of winter II
Yes! Finally spring has dare to appear, and like has been a tradition lately, I couldn´t resist to capture the last breath of the winter. Somehow, I find this time of the year specially beautiful...everything looks sad, dirty, wet...but still great. Maybe its because I know that starts the best time of the year (for me at least), summer is so close now!
For this shoot, I choose the Botanic University Garden, in Kaisaniemi, on a foggy sunday.
Hope you enjoy it!

Flowers for Noa
I shoot the other day a session with Noa. She was a wonderful model! She was bit sick, but still..she did fantastic poses, feeling lucky to be allowed to jump on the bed :). I just gave flowers to her, and this is the result...

Valentine's cards
Valentine's day is aproaching, and, most likely many of the couples are gonna celebrate it somehow. And
I have to confess that I like the idea of going out for a dinner with friends.
However...there is one thing that I never understood: the card thing. I am not a person of cards.I nerver buy them...I think is a waste of paper...meanless. But, If they are handmade by a friend if different story!. So I though: Enough!!
It is time to reinvent the card idea, and go back to the handmade, meanful gift. So I have done a limited edition serie of valentines cards, the idea is that after giving to your loved one, it could be part of your home, as a decoration item. Framing the card into a white, or black frame can look really nice and doesn´ t matter if was valentines card or not...it was a nice illustration and decorative item. Find them at Artflakes.
Happy Valentine´s to everyone!

Cuentos expatriados
This is the title of the first book that David Gambarte has published. Is a compilation of ten stories, impeccably writen, full of emotion and emptyness, fear, love, passion, human behaviour through the magnifying glass... None of the stories or the characters will leave you indifferent.
David asked me to do the cover for his book, and I have to said that it has been a great honour to be part of this his first project. From here I want ot congratulate and wish the best to him!

Reason loves...
...Emotion. As reads the title of this post, this equation was the slogan for the new image of the previously mentioned Agency Cul de Sac in Valencia.
They wanted a picture that will go with the new slogan of the company, and after much thinking, this is the result.
Design plus nature, reason and emotion. I also wanted that when looking at the picture you want to keep your eye on it...just in case something else happened, and that the person that is looking at it, could feel for a second, the pause that creates tension.
I want to thank my dear friend Christian , for been with me and help me during this shooting . It would have been impossible to work under the windy stormy weather!

Three little owls
During my staying in Valencia, I have rediscover my own style to illustrate, I still love the minimalistic drawings, watercolours and children motives, but I have to confess that i feel much confortable in the black and white field, and even the style reminds on the naive line, it gets a bit more complicated, and elaborated. I still draw children, ( I will post, in some point, some of them)...but today I want to share with you a serie of owls that I did some time ago, and from where this adventure starts. Is kind of contradictory, how black and white photos are not calling me later...but in the other hand, with a black pen in my hand i get really inspired....Hope you like them!
